Shipping update
Some of you will remember in April I dropped the cost of shipping to free in NZ on all orders over $30. This was a trial, to see how it would go and whether it was a viable option for the store.
Bringing down the minimum spend to qualify for free shipping did go go well, however the threshold was brought down too low to cover costs completely. As Betty & Leroy Vintage is just a small, one person store, and is still a very new store, I am still figuring out the best balance for both the customer and what is needed to keep the store running.
After much thinking and consideration over the last few days, I've decided that the best thing to do is to increase the minimum spend to $50 within NZ for free shipping. Shipping for any orders in NZ below $50 will be just $5. This new cost will come into place from Wednesday, 12 June. Any orders placed before then will still qualify for the current shipping conditions.
More stock coming soon
Later this week, I'm hoping to have some more stock available in the store - mainly NZ designers (Karen Walker, Kilt, Twenty Seven Names, and others), plus a couple of vintage Levi's jackets too. Keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook as I'll post as soon as the stock is up.
